Dr. Yun Bai is a principle scientist at WuXi Biologics cell culture process development (CCPD) department. Yun holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from University of Waterloo and more than 8 years’ experience in mammalian and microbial process development, cell culture media development and bioprocess scale-up. Yun is specialized in analyzing and modeling varied design of experiments (DOE) datasets and pushing for DOE applications in bioprocess development area. He had successfully demonstrated the feasibility of using definitive screening designs to speed up cell culture process development timelines and cut down overall development budget demands at WuXi CCPD department.
