Kexin Xie is a fifth-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Statistics at Virginia Tech. She was a summer intern with the DOE and Reliability group at JMP in 2025. Her research focuses on the intersection of design of experiments, statistical learning, and ML/AI to address challenges in complex systems, such as engineering systems, healthcare, and data-centric AI.
