Briana Russo has a master’s in biomedical engineering from the University of Michigan and a master’s in statistics from Texas A&M. She worked for six years as a Process Development Engineer at Regeneron, followed by five years as a Statistician/Data Scientist, including more than three years in the Center for Mathematical Sciences (CMS) at Merck. In 2025, Russo transitioned to a strategic role as the Director of Data Science in CMS, where serves as a bridge between the manufacturing and research statistical groups and the wider biologics organization at Merck.
