Alexander Verbeek is a Dutch environmentalist, public speaker, podcaster, and editor of The Planet newsletter. As a former diplomat, he is an international advisor on planetary change, helping governments, the UN, companies, NGOs, and academia fine-tune their communications. 

Verbeek is also the Policy Director at the Environment & Development Resource Centre in Brussels and a World Fellow at Yale University. He has worked as an associate or fellow at several international think tanks. Recognized as an influential leader, Verbeek has nearly a half-million followers online who look to him for the latest information on issues concerning climate change, sustainability, water, and nature.
