This will be the landing page for the JMP version of the STAT 101 Toolkit. The Toolkit is being developed by Dick De Veaux, Professor of Statistics at Williams College, along with other statistics educators (Nick Horton, Deb Nolan, Julie Legler, and Dave Bock). The goal is to better equip faculty in nonstatistics departments for the challenge of teaching STAT 101, a general statistics course taught in departments such as business, psychology and engineering.
The team started by identifying a variety of interesting data sets, and is now creating notes with stimulating ways of presenting various statistical concepts based on Dick's own innovative ways of teaching statistics.
A the first case study in the toolkit is attached.
