In the pharmaceutical industry, there is a requirement to understand how a product performs throughout its lifecycle. This paper presents the Bausch Health CPV application – a multidisciplinary analytics solution developed in conjunction with KPA using JMP Scripting Language – to automate data integration and advanced statistical analysis for meaningful product understanding. The development of the CPV application was performed in collaboration with users from multiple sites and cross-functional teams, each with their own unique requirements.

The challenges addressed include moving from manual data entry, fragmented process data across different local systems, and the risk of information overload obscuring actionable insights. By integrating diverse data sources into a unified platform, the application empowers users at all levels to automatically generate comprehensive, real-time quality insights for key products across multiple manufacturing sites. It ensures that only the most relevant quality indicators and critical attributes are presented, allowing teams to quickly identify trends, deviations, and areas for improvement without being overwhelmed by data volume.

In addition, the CPV Application has been designed to be deployed to additional sites and scalable for the addition of new products. The CPV application exemplifies how the strategic implementation of analytics and statistical techniques using JMP can solve persistent, real-world problems in pharmaceutical manufacturing. It advances the application of statistical insights leveraging the use of JMP in a multidisciplinary setting and generates meaningful insights at Bausch Health.
