This poster demonstrates how we are using JMP’s automation tools to extract key numerical values from data curves of measurements that are critical to Johnson Matthey (JM) globally.
At JM, we employ different analysis techniques across R&D and production settings to understand and QC our products. Data access and transformation are necessary steps for conducting data analysis. These steps can be repetitive and time-consuming and can lead to inconsistency and mistakes. The automation of these steps allows scientists and engineers to dedicate time to what is important – decision making and scientific discovery!
We are also automating the analysis with the use of formulas in JMP to extract values from data curves that define the properties of our materials, resulting in a better understanding of our products. Automation standardises data analysis, ensuring that decisions are supported by data and are made in a consistent and objective manner.
