Lene Bjørg Cesar
Science Manager and Statistician, NovozymesLene Bjørg Cesar is Science Manager at Novozymes in Bagsværd, Denmark, where she has been a part of the digitalization team since 2004. Cesar has a broad scientific background in research and development and enjoys the aspects of her work that involve understanding, communicating, and bridging wet-lab work, DOE and applied statistics.
She is responsible for statistical workshops for scientists and technicians at one of the two divisions at Novozymes. The statistical workshops focus on customized subject matter solutions using DOE and statistical approaches in JMP. Cesar has also led projects creating complex JMP add-ins that enable advanced statistics for the many JMP users at Novozymes. In general, Cesar supports colleagues in the use of JMP to get a better insight to their applications. She is also a JMP Pro user, applying machine learning models as predictive tools in projects. Cesar holds a master’s degree in applied statistics from the Technical University of Denmark.
