Chris Gotwalt leads the statistical software development and testing teams for JMP Statistical Discovery. Since joining in 2001, he has developed many numerical algorithms and new statistical techniques used in JMP. Gotwalt is a principal investigator on self-validating ensemble models for small data sets and holds adjunct professorships at three universities. He was chair of the ASA’s Quality and Productivity Section in 2020. His work focuses on accelerating innovation in industry and science.
