Muhammad Sulaman Nawaz earned his Ph.D. in human statistical genetics through his tenure at deCODE Genetics/Amgen and the University of Iceland. Prior to this, he completed his M.Phil and B.S. in bioinformatics. He is deeply committed to leveraging statistical and mathematical models to untangle associations and causal relationships for neurological traits.

After a decade-long tenure as a Statistical Geneticist, Sulaman transitioned to Alvotech, Iceland in 2022 as a CMC Statistician, where he lends support to cross-functional teams. Sulaman actively engages in training Alvotech employees on statistical methodologies, including the utilization of JMP software.

In 2024, Sulaman assumed the role of Lead Statistician, spearheading the statistical strategy to integrate a quality by design approach throughout the development and manufacturing life cycle.
