Matt Wolfgang graduated from the University of Maryland and earned his Ph.D. at the University of Michigan. He studied Pseudomonas aeruginosa gene regulation at Harvard and the University of Washington. Now at UNC, his lab focuses on chronic respiratory infections and innate immune metabolism in COVID-19 patients.
