Don’t miss out on everything the 2019 JMP Discovery Tucson conference has to offer. There are still a few open spaces. If you’ve been planning to attend this conference, now is the time to register.
Also, don’t forget that as a member of a JMP users group, you qualify for a discounted conference registration. Enter “UGROUP19” when you register to get the $1125 rate. Want to save even more money? If you have 4 or more colleagues registering from the same organization, your per person fee drops to $995. Just use the code, “CORPGROUP19”, to get that discount.
The conference hotel can also offer a government employee room rate of $96 per night (with the exception of Saturday, October 12 th , due to occupancy levels). These rooms are in limited supply so act fast.

The meeting in December was really great. Thank you to everyone who joined us. On the way out, I discussed with a few others what an appropriate frequency might be for future meetings, and we seemed to agree that quarterly meetings would be about right. That means the next one ought to be in March. If there is a good amount of interest, let's get the ball rolling. Thank you to the guys at Intel who invited us over to the campus in Chandler. We discussed looking for a location that is more central for the next meeting. Any proposals? I would be happy to host at the W.L. Gore campus in North Phoenix (I-17 and Sonoran Desert Dr.), but I'm afraid that wouldn't be much more central. Any proposals for topics?

All, I believe most of you are familiar with Meetups . In case you are not , it is essentially a user group that meets regularly to use the meeting platform to learn / share / expand . I would like to propose a Phoenix JMP Meetup in Phoenix. We can invite and gather our users to contribute to the agenda . For starters , I am interested in learning more about : 1. Using JMP to interact with R and Python 2. Statistical Foundation for JSL Scripters

Thank you for helping to get the ball rolling on a new local group meeting. I've scheduled a planning call. I hope you can join us. (See dial-in information below.)
If you cannot join, never fear, my hope is at least one user on the call would be willing to post a brief status update for everyone after the call. If you have any feedback regarding best times/days of the week/locations to meet, as well as any topics you'd love to see at the next meeting, I'm sure the planners would welcome that input as well. Thanks!
P.S. Just a reminder that one of the benefits of joining a JMP user group is discounts to the JMP Discovery Conference. If you're thinking about joining us in St. Louis this fall, the discount code is "coach17" and that gets you 50% off the conference rate!
