What inspired this wish list request? Workflow is WONDERFUL and I use it a lot. I have automated some data cleansing and calculations that I run every month that are similar in structure but different enough to have separate but similar workflows in their own reusable projects. I don't change them very often, but when I do make an improvement, I have to edit a lot of individual workflow steps across multiple projects. This would be simpler to do if these were just in scripts where I could find/replace or edit instead of hunting for the right workflow step over and over again. Also, I have noticed that scripts run faster than workflows, so if it is something I do repeatedly and don't need to interact with, it would run faster as a script. (But I am SO glad that I didn't have to write the scripts!)
What is the improvement you would like to see? It would be good if there were a way to take a workflow, push a button, and have JMP put all the workflow steps into a script with semicolons, etc., ready to be saved and used.
Why is this idea important? This is an efficiency improvement and allows us to have more visibility and consistency when making changes.
