Acceptance Limits for Control Charts

Please make Acceptance Limits available in JMP Control Charts.

Introduced by Friend in 1957, the illustration below provides the formula and a chart that uses Acceptance Limits in conjunction with standard Shewhart Control Limits, published in Zhang (Editor), 2016: Nonclinical Statistics for Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Industries, Chapter 21, Altan et al.: Process Capability and Statistical Process Control, p. 566.

Acceptance Limits are used to make sure that a process characteristic keeps a safe distance from specification limits, based on the assumption of a normal distribution. The process mean is irrelevant for the calculation of these limits. For high-cpk process characteristics, Shewhart Limits and Acceptance Limits can be very different. If they could be used in conjunction in JMP as suggested in the illustration, that would be great.
