In addition to the ooh’s and ah’s you’re sure to utter, you’ll also learn how to create similar visualizations for yourself using JMP Graph Builder. Complete with step-by-step instructions, Scott shows you how to create visualizations like a colored Periodic Table showing ionization energy; a marginal plot that shows pollution data in U.S. cities; and a Gantt Chart (which JMP can do, btw) showing the steps needed to make your own wine. Scott finishes with a “Mystery Chart,” (spoiler alert: it’s a waterfall chart) which tracks trends in the closing prices over time for stocks in the S&P 500.
