Referring to JMP as "an old friend," statistician John Wass reviewed JMP 8 for Scientific Computing and calls it a "major upgrade." The review includes several visualizations and covers many of the major new features of JMP 8.
Wass concludes: "This latest version is stunning in the quality of the graphics, and JMP has pioneered the advancement of statistical graphics by heavily linking most number-crunching operations to a graphic. Interested parties are highly encouraged to download a trial version."
