New JMP User Group in Austin to Meet Oct. 29

New JMP users groups are sprouting up all over the US in 2008! In the last six months alone, three new groups have launched.

I'm pleased to announce the addition of a fourth users group community. On Oct. 29, the Austin Users Group will hold its first meeting in the SAS Austin Office. The meeting will feature dynamic speakers John Sall, Executive VP and Co-Founder of SAS, along with Six Sigma expert Dr. Harrison “Skip” Weed of Dell.

Starting a new JMP users group provides great networking opportunities with others who share common interests and have a similar professional background. Better yet, user group members have premier access to information and demonstrations on the latest JMP features and to the ears of our developers as they work on future developments. If you’re in the Austin area, we hope you’ll join this group to:

• Learn about the latest JMP products, capabilities and services.

• Improve your efficiency and productivity by learning new coding and analysis techniques.

• Discover the new and innovative ways others are solving real-world problems.

During the first meeting in Austin, Sall will provide a sneak preview of some of the amazing new features in JMP 8, including a new drag-and-drop graphing capability and a more powerful simulation capability. This event is complimentary, and dinner will be served.
