Meet authors of Information Quality book at Discovery Summit Europe

Galit ShmueliGalit ShmueliRon KenettRon KenettRon Kenett of University of Turin and Galit Shmueli of National Tsing Hua University will deliver keynote talks at Discovery Summit Europe in Prague, 21-23 March.

Their recent book, Information Quality, provides a framework for data analysts to assess the quality of data and its potential to provide meaningful insights through analysis.

SAS co-founder and fellow Discovery Summit keynote speaker John Sall says: "There is an important distinction between data and information. Data become information only when they serve to inform, but what is the potential of data to inform? With the work Kenett and Shmueli have done, we now have a general framework to answer that question. This framework is relevant to the whole analysis process, showing the potential to achieve higher-quality information at each step."

Toward the end of Discovery Summit Europe, delegates will have the chance to meet Kenett and Shmueli. If you’re attending, bring your copy of their book to have it signed by the authors!
