Join us for the inaugural meeting of the Great Lakes JMP Users Group on April 1 at the SAS office in Chicago.
John Sall, creator of JMP and Executive Vice President of SAS, will be presenting, along with Jeff Hawes, a JMP Systems Engineer. Two JMP users – John Wass and Ron Halverson – will also give presentations.
Here’s what John Wass has to say about the upcoming meeting:
"We are especially pleased to have John Sall presenting on “What’s New in JMP 7.” Other topics include Data Manipulation in JMP, Tips & Tricks with JMP, and a specific example of industrial problem-solving with JMP. Because this is the inaugural meeting, we will hold a business meeting in conjunction with the lunch break, where we will be soliciting volunteers and providing further information on group activities and logistics."
Registration will start at 8:30 a.m., and John Sall's presentation will begin at 9 a.m. The meeting will wrap up at 2 p.m.
Kathy Walker, the JMP liaison for users groups, says:
"The Great Lakes group started because one longtime JMP user, who is passionate about the software, wanted to start a local JMP users group. I work with JMP customers in my job, so it’s rewarding to know that JMP users are asking for a local users group."
