The purpose of this add-in is to assist in the migration of JMP Clinical configurations and studies (from
source versions 7.0 through 8.1 to target versions 17.0 through 18.0 on Windows OS). It uses a
combination of interactive and command line (API) processes. You will interactively create configurations
on the JMP Clinical target version with the same names as those that you are migrating from, make
minor modifications to a CMD file as needed, run that file, and review its output and/or the resulting
studies within each JMP Clinical target version configuration. Only core study data is migrated. (Narrative
templates, study notes, study snapshot history, preferences, custom reports, review templates, etc. are
not migrated by this add-in.)
You should have StudyManager, ConfigurationManager, and SettingsEditor user roles enabled in the
JMP Clinical target version (JMP Clinical Main Window > Settings > Manage Configurations > System
Preferences > Role Assignments) and have read access to input data for each study that you wish to
migrate from the source.
