AP Statistics Lab Activities

A series of lab activities for teaching concepts covered on the AP Statistics exam was developed by AP Statistics teachers at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM) Statistics Institute

These activities, which can also be used as homework assignments, were developed for the following topics:

  • Exploring and describing data
  • Probability and sampling distributions
  • Confidence intervals
  • Hypothesis testing for means
  • Hypothesis testing for proportions - categorical data
  • Regression
