JMP Benelux hosted a virtual workshop on Design of Experiments (DOE), which was repeated on different dates and times between 24-30 April 2020. The workshop focused on the benefits of modern Definitive Screening Designs (DSD), but also covered Mixture designs and cases with hard-to-change variables, two situations where DSDs can’t be used.
The advantages gained by organizations who adopt an analytic approach to R&D through DOE was briefly touched upon as well – get products to market faster, more predictably, and at lower cost. These advantages are maximized when belief in this technique is widespread throughout the organization. For that reason, JMP has posted a few success stories about how various companies have benefited from DOE (including the case-study used in the workshop). These can be used to help raise awareness of the potential gains DOE, and analytics in general, can bring to businesses that adopt them.
For those of you who couldn’t join us live, a recording of the workshop can be found below, as well as the JMP journal file needed to follow along. This was a follow-up to the “Beginners Introduction to JMP” workshop held on 31 March. If you missed that one, you can find a recording on it here.
