When searching the JMP Community, there are a few basic things of which you should be aware.

You can limit the scope of your search using the dropdown list on the right of the search bar. The options change depending on what part of the Community you’re viewing.

    • Selecting “All community" will give you results from all areas of the Community to which you have access.
    • Scope your search to the knowledge Base, category, or board you’re currently viewing. Please note that from the Community home page, selecting “Knowledge Base” will return results from all knowledge bases in the Community.

As you enter text in the search field, results will be displayed in the drop-down.

The first set of results will be PLACES, which shows the areas of the Community that contain content related to the search terms. The next set of results will be POSTS. Any posts recommended by JMP Staff will be displayed first These RECOMMENDED posts will not be limited to the scope you selected but the posts following them will be.

Pressing Enter in the search field or clicking the Magnifying Glass icon will take you to the full search results page. Here, you’ll be able to further filter the results in numerous ways to make finding what you’re looking for even easier.
