Discussions: An Overview

The Discussions forum is the place to ask and answer questions, and where most of the activity takes place in the Community. Here’s what you can do in the Discussions forum.

 

  • To start a discussion, click the Start a Discussion orange button in the upper right.

  • The green triangles indicate that this post has a solution

  • If another member (or even yourself) answers your question to your satisfaction, be sure to click the Accept as Solution button at the bottom of the reply that you think is a good solution. This helps others who have the same or similar question easily find an answer. You can select more than one answer as a solution, if applicable.

  • Giving Kudos to an existing Discussion post gives feedback to the author that their post has been helpful, so please give Kudos whenever you find a post helpful. To do this, click the orange button with a thumbs-up icon at the bottom of a reply.

  • To respond to other user’s questions, ask for clarification, share your knowledge, or connect with other community members, click the blue Reply button at the bottom of the post text,
