I have a list of strings which represent column name. I want to Tabulate a data table using this list as the Analysis Columns.

My script resembles:

abc = { "A", "B", "C", "D" };

Tab = dt << Tabulate(

     Show Control Panel( 0),

     Add Table(

          Column Table( Analysis Columns( abc)))

);

There is a problem when JMP runs the Analysis Columns. Does anyone know how I could make this work?

Solution

Use EVAL LIST.

abc = {"A", "B", "C", "D"};

dt = Current Data Table();

Tab = dt << Tabulate(

      Show Control Panel( 0 ),

      Add Table( Column Table( Analysis Columns( Eval List( abc ) ) ) )

);
