Documenting a table using a Table Variable (e.g., called Notes) is a great feature. But I get verbose and so analysis result windows start with 2 vertical inches of my notes. Any way to make this Table Variable invisible in the output window?

In the preferences there is an option "Data Table Title on Output" (in the reports section). Uncheck that box and the "Notes" disappear.

I've never had that checked so I could at first not reproduce the behavior you are describing. A bit odd to show every table variable with that option enabled. One would think only the Title would do.

Thanks. That is the best generic solution of course. For more control, my brute force solution is: store the table variable value, delete it, run the plot (or whatever platform), then add the table variable back at the end. The difference is my data table name is in the output, which is a better way to track my analysis. Here is my example with Data Key as my table variable:

dt=current data table();
datakey=dt<dt<Overlay Plot( ...commands...
);
dt<
