opening a MySQL table with Open Database() using 64-bit JMP 10

I'm having an issue executing sql statements against a MYSQL database in JMP 10 64bit on Windows 7.  Every other row is blank.

There is a similar thread for JMP 9 here: https://communities.sas.com/thread/32191 but the problem isn't really solved.  What I'm wondering is if someone has a fix for JMP 10?

Hello,

I believe this issue is addressed in JMP Note 45186:

Hope that helps!

Hi, is this actually going to be solved? The support notes linked by WK says that the issue was resolved with JMP 10 but I still get the same problem. The support note also says that you can avoid this by not using the advanced query dialog and importing it in completely, but I still get the same problem. I also get this issue when I use a JSL script to connect to the database and try to open a table.

By the way Justin, in case you didn't see it, this problem can be avoided by changing all data types to FLOAT or CHAR(255). However this greatly decreases the efficiency of my database and can cause issues for comparisons with FLOAT columns.

I'm sorry that you're still having problems.

Make sure that you've updated to the latest maintenance release of JMP 10, version 10.0.2.

If you're still having difficulty, please contact tech support for further assistance.
