hiding a step in a final output (invisible command, private command)

Hi all,

Before making a graph I needed to make some "categorical" work and "save transposed frequencies"

     objsemantic = Categorical(

            Count Missing Responses( 0 ),

            Order Response Levels High to Low( 1 ),

            Multiple Delimited( :SEMANTICS POS ),

            Multiple Delimited( :SEMANTICS NEG ),

            Share Of Responses( 0 ),

            Rate Per Case( 0 ),

            Share Chart( 0 ),

            Legend( 0 ),

            Total Cases( 0 ),

            Total Cases Responding( 0 ),

            Mean Score( 1 ),

            Contents Summary( 0 ),

            Force Crosstab Shading( 0 )

        ),

        objsemantic << Save Transposed Frequencies;

And then the graph comes but the final output also displays the categorical steps which I would not like.

I know there are "invisible" and/or "private" commands for these cases but wherever I placed it, it did not work.

Many thanks for help

I don't recall the exact JSL but I am pretty sure you can delete those outline boxes from the report window to get the look you want.

To continue on Brent's idea; the JSL for deleting the Categorical outline box could be something like this

Current Report()[Outline Box("Categorical")] << delete;
