Hello, how do I replace data without having to go through and manually enter each missing value? I believe there is a formula that includes "is missing" that will cover all missing values, but I can't figure out how to properly create the formula. Any help? Thanks.
Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. Is there a way to get it to fill in the missing values in the original column without having to create a new column? If not, would running a regression model with both columns provide the same results as if all of the values were in the same column?
I'd just make the new column your main column after you replace the data. Run the regression on the new column, not the old one.
If you absolutely need to fill in the missing data in the first column, just do a find and replace, CRTL-F (or Edit --> Find). Leave "Find What:" blank, and put whatever you want in the "Replace With:"
