fit parametric survival data with runouts and random variable

Hi,

I'm analyzing failure data with runouts (right censored data) and would like to include a random variable in the model.

As far as I can see I could use the "fit model platform" to include the random variable but there is no possibilty to include censored data. Alternatively I could use the fit parametric survival platfor which allows using censored data, but it doesn't allow random variables. (You can still assign the attribute "Random Effect" to a variable, but you get an error message if you want to run the model.)

Is there a way around this? (My scirpting competences are quite limited.)

Re: fit parametric survival data with runouts and random variable

I posted this question in October, but there is no answer so far. Does that mean it's not possible?

I'm sorry that you had to wait. I was unavailable at the time you posted and assumed that someone else would answer before I returned.

Unfortunately, you currently cannot fit a model to data with a censored response and random effects in JMP or JMP Pro.

Learn it once, use it forever!

OK, thanks.

At least now I know I didn't miss anything.
