In JMP 11 on a Mac I want to label an axis in the Graph Builder with the correct units. Is there a way to write exponentials and indices in a nice way?

Currently I am only able to write it like

A_b [10^-3 mm]

I would like it to look like

A_{b} [10^{-3} mm]

is this possible?

Hi cadaei,

Presently the axis labels in JMP do not support that additional formatting like that. You could add such labels after the fact in another program, or if you prefer to stay in JMP you could journal the output from graph builder and then add that label to the graph in the journal by copying it from another document. Here's a quick video showing that.

I realize this isn't a perfect solution, but I hope it helps!
