Why the time as data filter option doesnt work in Graph builder?

Dear community members,

I am trying to find a simple correlation of "time of day" and defect percentage. For this, I am using graph builder and time as data filter. Instead of using "ordinal data type" and a checkbox, I would prefer to have "time as continuous" as I can easily select any time range for instance 07.30.00 - 09.30.00

However, I find data filter doesn't work in this case. Do you think binning is only option in this case?

Thanks for your help.

I'd probaby start off by trying a semi-continuous scale by using the HOUR function to create an 'hour of day' column

I don't know if this comment will be useful, however, I just changed the format for the Time of Day column, from h:m:s to Day:hr:m:s and it allowed the data filter to work without issue.

Re: Why the time as data filter option doesnt work in Graph builder?

Its brilliant trick, it works.

However, it changes the values. For instance Time: 16.39.43 has changed to 00.07.20.17.

Thanks for your help.
