V-Mask centered on last point in CUSUM charts, JMP13

Hi all,

I couldn't find an answer to this in any of my searches on the discussion board. I'm using JMP 13 to make CUSUM charts. When I allow JMP to use the population mean, the V-mask is centered around zero and makes sense. However, when I choose my own target goal that is different from the population mean, the V-mask is centered on the last point. Shouldn't the V-mask still be centered on zero and show the individual points drifting outside the V-mask boundary? This is essentially what I want to show, but cannot for the life of me figure it out. The two photos below hopefully show what I mean. In the first, I let JMP choose the target mean (0.195). In the second, I choose the target mean to be 0.15. All the other parameters are exactly the same. Thanks in advance if anyone has some insight. Screen Shot 2018-06-06 at 11.42.26 AM.pngTarget as Population MeanScreen Shot 2018-06-06 at 11.42.48 AM.pngChosen Target
