Re: Using watches in the Debugger

I'm a bit confused by the jmp-debugger.

I would like to track a part of a matrix in my script. The matrix is stored in a variable called "output". But as the whole matrix is fairly large I want to look at the 10th column only. Somehow I am not able to do that using the "Watch"es in the debugger.

I was expecting to see a vector in the value-column. Thanks for showing me what I am doing wrong!

Solution

For your purpose of debugging, you might consider storing the portion of the matrix that you want to watch in another variable, and then setting the debugger to watch it.

You can eliminate or 'comment out' this assignment after you finish debugging this portion of the script.
