Can I define an action that's taken whenever I click on one of JMP's standard graphics? For example, the following little script draws a simple control chart. I'd like to perform some action whenever I click anywhere on the chart (e.g. open another window, display a table of parameters related to the nearest process point to where I've clicked, carry out another analysis or whatever).
I've tried right-clicking on the chart, selecting "Customize" from the resulting menu, clicking on the "+" button and creating a script, but I haven't yet managed to write a script that will detect a mouse click using the Mouse Trap function, and then perform some action that I specify. I could do it easily enough on a chart that I've scripted myself, but I don't want to have to rewrite the control chart function just to incorporate that extra functionality. Can it be done?
