The decision tree how the parameter loading "Freq" differs from that of no loading?

Hello, everyone!

The decision tree modeling consult JMP loads the "Freq" parameter, which seems to have multiple characteristics, such as "date", "ID"…….

Thanks you!

The Boston Housing sample data table does not load anything into the FREQ field for me as you have shown in your screen capture. I am guessing that the question is what does the FREQ field do. Specifying a variable as FREQ tells JMP that the column contains information on how many times that row of data appears. For example, if you have this fictitious row in the data table:

X     Y     Z

1      2    10

and Z is the FREQ variable, then the data where X=1 and Y=2 actually occurs 10 times in the data table rather than the one that appears. More details can be found in the JMP manuals: file:///C:/Program%20Files/SAS/JMPPRO/14/Help/index.html#page/jmp%2FUG_ColumnInfo_26.html
