Hi,

I am trying to set up a 3-component 3-level mixture design, but under DOE>CLASSICAL>Mixture Design, when I set Number of Levels to be 3, clicking on Simplex Lattice gives me four levels 0,1/3,2/3.1 instead of the 0,1/2,1 that I expect. I would appreciate a clarification on this.

I believe that 0 isn't counted as a level.

So if you want 0, .5, 1 you should set the Number of Levels to 2.

Re: Simplex Lattice Mixture Design

OK. I was going by the convention that a {q,m} simplex-lattice design has q components, m+1 levels and fits an order m model with the number of runs being (q+m-1)!/m!(q-1)!
