How to set default decimal sign based on locale

Hi everyone,

I'm writing a script that will be used in both Europe and US.  The problem I run into is the decimal sign.  Default, JMP uses the regional settings from Windows to determine what it should be.

I can change it to a point using <<use locale(0) after the expression (default = 1).

However, is there a way to change the default value for the entire script once?

Thank you,

Jan

Re: Set default decimal sign

Jan,

Under File > Preferences there is a check box under language selection that you can check to force the usage of JMP language instead of local custom for numbers et.al.  Might be worth a try.  You can switch back and forth as needed.
