Scripting Method to Change Drawing Order of Existing Segments

I am trying to develop a way whereby someone can click a checkbox and have the corresponding spline fit line (1) change it's width and (2) come to the front of the frame.  I have accomplished (1), but (2) is more difficult.  I know about the frame<<Customize option, but I need a scripted solution.

I have looked at the frame<<DispatchSeg(LineSeg(n),{...}) solution, but I do not know all of the available methods for Lineseg's.  Is there a drawing order specifier somewhere?

Ok so I did something simple:  I simply appended a new copy of the segment in question to the frame using frame<<AppendSeg(frame<<FindSeg(LineSeg(n))), which puts the newest seg at the end and on top.  Then I set its linewidth, etc.  The checkbox, when deselected, has a command to delete the last seg.  This is actually easier than changing the order.
