Script Syntax Issue?

Upon adding the following command to my script, JMP fails to excecute claiming a problem about 100 lines further below;

The formatting of the "CreationDate" variable is pre-existing in the script as shown

column ("CreationDate") << data type(numeric, format("ddMonYYYY"));

I'm attempting to create a new column in my data table, "Month", which is the numeric representation of the month of year; I've tried creation date with and without quotes

dt<<New Column("Month", Numeric, Continuous, Formula(Month("CreationDate"));

The specific error message is shown here;

Unexpected end of input. Perhaps there is a missing "," or ")".
Trying to parse arguments of function "New Column".
Line 119 Column 3: );►

The new column addition is on line 31 of my script and line 119 is the very last line, which is the end of a variability chart and has not changed

Re: Script Syntax Issue?

You need to close the New Column message. Now you are only closing the Formula argument.

Learn it once, use it forever!

Re: Script Syntax Issue?

To add specificity to @markbailey response, you need to add a ")" to your statement......see corrected line below

dt<<New Column("Month", Numeric, Continuous, Formula(Month("CreationDate")));
