Saving Control Limits in JMP9?

Hi,

I've found that this syntax doesn't work in JMP9 though the Show Properties() output for saving control limits from control charts is basically the same between JMP9 and JMP15.

This script from JMP15's scripting index:

dt = Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA/Quality Control/Coating.jmp" );
obj = dt << Control Chart(
	Sample Size( :Sample ),
	KSigma( 3 ),
	Chart Col( :Weight, XBar, R )
);
obj << Save Limits( in New Table );

The Save Limits message works in JMP15 but not JMP9. In JMP, all it does is update the log with 'Variables Control Chart[]' but it does not make a new table.

Re: Saving Control Limits in JMP9?

JMP 11 documentation shows a different syntax

NamesDefaultToHere(1);
dt = Open(
	"$SAMPLE_DATA/Quality Control/Coating.jmp"
);
obj = Control Chart(
	Sample Size(:Sample),
	KSigma(3),
	Chart Col(:Weight, XBar, R)
);
obj << in New Table;

Try it, it may work
