Save JMP as XLSX file somehow failed?

I copied the Big class.jmp into the path C:\2\, and found the Big class.jmp in this path. After some calculation, the formula was finally removed and the last 5 lines were deleted.
Save the file as the file in C:\2\, same file name in XLSX format, but failed to try many times, please kindly help, thank you!

The following code is one of mine, "fname_" and "mn_" are both variables that are assigned in the calculation.
dir = "C:\2\";
dt=open(dir||……

……
d1 << Sav( dir|| na || ls || ".xlsx");

Re: Save JMP as XLSX file somehow failed?

dt << Save( dir|| char(na) || char(ls) || ".xlsx");

Your variables, na and ls are numeric, and the concatenation operation requires string(character) variables.  So just force the numerics to be character strings by using the char() function

Re: Save JMP as XLSX file somehow failed?

The last line should be:
dt << Save( dir|| na || ls || ".xlsx");

Re: Save JMP as XLSX file somehow failed?

What is the message in the log?

If you display the path you are attempting to save to, what do you see

show( dir|| na || ls || ".xlsx");

Is the variable "dt" actually pointing to the data table you want to save?

Re: Save JMP as XLSX file somehow failed?

thank you very much for your repeated help!

Add:show( dir|| na || ls || ".xlsx");
The following prompts appear:

argument should be character in access or evaluation of 'Concat' , Bad Argument( ls ), dir || /*###*/na || /*###*/ls || /*###*/".xlsx" /*###*/
