Refer a new created table in JMP 10

I have the following section of the script which used to work flawlessly in JMP 8 but fails in JMP 10

cc= dtcc<<Control chart(......);

cc<<save limits (in new table);

dt2 = data table (1);

in JMP 8 dt2 used to refer the newly created (for example "Untitled #") table but in JMP 10 it doesn't refer to new table. This is giving erroneous results as dt2 reference is wrong.

I would appreciate if anyone can point me on how to refer to newly created table...specifically for newly created Control chart limits table.

Also, noted that in JMP 10 the script doesn't output the graphs to window is that the reason why the reference is failing?

In the above the problem seems to be in cc<<save limits (in new table); statement as there is no new table created in the first place. Not sure what changed in JMP 10 for this to not work. Any pointers?

Your code works fine in JMP 10 for me. What happens if you try to save limits in new table manually? Is the option available, and if so, is the table created?

Names Default To Here( 1 );

dt = Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA/Quality Control/Coating.jmp" );

cc = Control Chart( Sample Size( 1 ), Chart Col( :Weight ), Chart Type( Run Chart ) );

cc << save limits( in new table );

dt2 = Data Table( 1 ); //This works in JMP 10.0.2 (Mac)

dt3 = cc << save limits( in new table ); //This works too!

Show( dt2, dt3 )

Solution

cc= dtcc<<Control chart(......);

cc<<save limits (in new table);

cc<<in new table;

dt2 = data table (1);

cc<< in new table; solved my issues

MS thanks for getting back to me. In JMP 10.0.1 Release:2 (Win 7) cc<< save limits(in new table); didn't work not sure if it's a version bug.
