In Weibull++, there is a chioce to use Rank Regression on X for life distrubution estimation. I tired to use the same in JMP but couldn't find it. Is anyone has idea about it?
The Analyze > Reliability > Fit Life by X platform in JMP Is used for such analyses. It does not use rank regression estimation, however. It uses maximum likelihood estimation instead.
Thanks for your reply. I used Life Distrubution for plotting Weibull Analysis as I only have failure cycles and censor in my study. So, if I used Fit Life by X, what is the X factor can be? The attached file is my data input.
Your data set is simple. You can model it with the Weibull distribution in Life Distribution but that is all. Fit Life by X provides models when there is a covariate in the study (X). For example, you might vary the Temperate in your study. The modeling could tell you how the Weibull distribution changes with Temperature.
