Pasting JSL code into MS-Word loses syntax colorization

Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm having trouble pasting JSL code into Word.   I'm using 9.0.3, and I want to copy/paste JSL programs from the JMP editor into Word 2007.  Usually it comes over looking exactly like it does in the editor, e.g.

// Set the legend to only show the symbols, not the lines

      legend_text1 = "";

      legend_text2 = "";

      for (i = 1, i <= nmarkers, i++,

            legend_text1 = legend_text1 || char(i - 1) || ",";

            if (i == nmarkers,

                  legend_text2 = legend_text2 || "-1";

                  ,

                  legend_text2 = legend_text2 || "-1,";

            );

      );

However, when I copy/paste a really long program (actually it's all the code for one application, concatenated together).   All told, about 12,000 lines.  For some reason I'm losing the syntax colorization and font.  Any ideas?  I've tried paste special and neither of those choices does any better (Unformatted text or Unformatted Unicode text).

start_year = 1901;

end_year   = 2020;

year_list = {};

for (i = start_year, i <= end_year, i++,

                year_list[i-start_year+1] = char(i);            // lists use characters, not numbers

);

Thanks,

Peter

Hi Peter,

It looks like there's a 50,000 character limit to JSL that we'll convert to RTF on the clipboard.

Hey thanks Xan.  It worked in smaller chunks.  Maybe I'm writing too much code...
