Opening sas7bdat table via http and username/password

I am trying to open a sas7bdat table via web interface directly within JMP. This syntax has worked successfully before, but the table was open for all to view:

dt = Open("http://anypath/table1.sas7bdat");

For cases where the web interface has permissions - I get an error (unable to retrieve file). I know the file is there, and have no problem opening directly via the web browser and opening in JMP... but I need to script this to run automatically.

Any way to pass username/password information within the Open command?

Re: Opening sas7bdat table via http and username/password

An update with this problem......

The Open command does present a dialog to enter username/password. After entering the information, the script stops with following log entry:

Connection made.
Connection made.
Error: Got status code 406

The specified file does not exist.

I know the file does exist. I can open it from the browser and JMP reads it just fine.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated to script the opening of this http file.
