Hi,

I would like to run a 2^5-2 (resolution III) experiment with a defining relation as I = -ABC and I = - ADE. I will run a follow up experiment with a foldover design to separte the main factors from two factor interactions.

I would like to know how can i create such a design in JMP. Does JMP alow to create a design with negative defining relation.?

please help and thanks in advance.

JMP creates fractional factorial designs, like the 2**(5–2) that you asked about.

Changing the defining relation to negative is done by multiplying column(s) by –1, assuming your columns are scaled to +1 and –1; so yes, you can do this in JMP.
