Missing Actions

I have JMP student version that I purchased last year. However, it seems to be missing some items that I need for one of my classes. The items I know i need at the moment are Box-Cox Transofrmations and Sequential Tests, I know where they should be normally, but they are not there. Does anyone know if this can be fixed?

Thank You!

Re: Missing Actions

Can you post a screen shot of the the About box for your copy of JMP?

Is it possible that you're using JMP Student Edition?

Re: Missing Actions

Box-Cox is available in the Least Squares personality of the Fit Model platform.  You just need to click the red-arrow button next to "Response <response column name>" > Factor Profiling > Box Cox Y Transformation.  Sequential Tests is in the same red-arrow menu, but under the Estimates sub-menu.

If you want these to appear automatically, edit your preferences (Ctrl+K is the short cut) and go to Platforms > Fit Least Squares, and then find the appropriate preferences to edit.

Re: Missing Actions

By chance do you have any random effects? If so, Box-Cox is unavailable

Re: Missing Actions

Not sure, I dont think so. I also dont have the sequential tests and it looks as though i am missing some other options it appears to be a software issue.

Re: Missing Actions

Seems unlikely it’s a software issue. Share a screenshot of the dialog window for Fit Model with everything filled in.

Also, have you reproduced the problem with other data tables? Try something from the sample data library like Big Class and do a really simple model.
