MATLAB Init() and Excel Add-in Issues with JMP14

In the past, I was able to successfully use JMP13 to run MATLAB R2018b scripts and extract data into tables.  Recently, I updated to JMP 14 and reverted to MATLAB R2017b to include a toolbox (although I still have MATLAB 2019a installed).

I've updated all the environmental variables needed to run MATLAB 2017b both through JMP and windows 10 (through the Edit Environment Variables option), and basically followed this guide:

https://community.jmp.com/t5/JMP-Blog/How-to-use-JMP-and-MATLAB-together/ba-p/30408

Now what is strange, is that when running JMP scripts with MATLAB Init() commands MATLAB seems to respond slowly and a MATLAB Command Window open with a message asking to type doc (see attached).

I've re-installed both JMP and MATLAB but the issues persists.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Re: MATLAB Init() and Excel Add-in Issues with JMP14

I forgot to mention the main issue.  JMP cannot connect to MATLAB anymore.  I'm not able to run MATLAB scripts through JMP anymore.
