Linking a JMP app to an Addin

Hi,

While creating an Addin, I was able to link a JSL script to the Addin to launch on click. I was wondering how to link a user created JMP App using an addin(user created).

I tried saving the JMP App as JSL format and linked it to my addin, but on click the addin brings up the Application builder instead of the App itself.

Any help regarding this would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dileep

Re: Linking a JMP app to an Addin

Hi Dileep,

When you Save Script to Script Window in App Builder, you get a script of the form:

JMPApp() << Edit

If you change "Edit" to "Run", it will run the app instead of bringing up the editor.  When you save to AddIn / DataTable / Journal, we default to "Run", but saving to the script window uses "Edit".

Hope that helps!
